STOREFRONT OFFICE
The design of this compact office space within a storefront tenant area translates the company’s philosophy and vision into a functional layout, effectively utilizing the limited 650 square feet.
TAILORING A SPACE THAT WORKS FOR YOU
Ample natural light enters through the spacious shop windows, and the open office arrangement capitalizes on this connection to the outdoors. The office is compartmentalized into three distinct zones, each of which can serve multiple purposes to enhance the space’s versatility. Throughout the design, material and product choices align with the brand’s vision for the benefit of employees, clients, and guests.
SPACES FOR TEAMWORK + FOCUSED WORK
The front zone of the office houses public-oriented activities, featuring a conference area, library, and a full wall bulletin board. Sliding scrim panels between this zone and the interior workspace offer adaptable spatial separation for privacy when needed.
DEFINED YET FLEXIBLE SPACES
The central zone is dedicated to accommodating diverse work modes and collaborative efforts. Here, a “scrum bar” serves as a hub for impromptu discussions, team layout spaces, and communal storage. Sit-stand workstations are oriented towards opposing walls, supporting focused individual work in a small space. Each workstation has designated storage and pin-up areas. The rear of the office encompasses support functions like a large storage closet, kitchenette, printing station, and restroom.
DESIGN AS AN REFLECTION OF YOUR COMPANY VALUES
The office’s physical space embodies the brand and vision of the company, as desired by its owners. The design emphasized openness, flexibility, and warmth through meticulous selections of materials and products. A white-on-white palette is enriched with wooden and dark accents, enhancing the naturally illuminated environment. A prominent feature is the maple plywood scrum bar, serving as a central focal point, complemented by wood paneling in the kitchenette and printing zone. Plant-friendly spaces are thoughtfully incorporated to introduce biophilic elements, capitalizing on daylight and scenic views.
